| Thomas Richmond Staggs was born on November 24, 1972 in Memphis, TN. He died unexpectantly at his residence on November 13, 2025. He was only 52 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Rich attended the University of Memphis and received a mechanical engineering degree. He worked as an engineer in various roles in the telecommunications industry. Rich will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor. He made us smile when things were going badly, helped us keep things in perspective. He also enjoyed cooking and shared his talent with everyone around him. He was interested in film, including the “behind the scenes” mechanics of making a movie. Rich is survived by his sister Michelle and his niece Katie. Rich was predeceased by his father, Paul, and his mother, Diane. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. |
