| Our Beloved Amy Louise Groover, ‘Doodlebug, Sissy’. of Port Charlotte, FL and Houghton Lake MI, Passed on May 1, 2026 at 38 years old. She was a very loving young lady. She cared for her family more than anything. She was preceded in death by our dad, John Groover and her son Zackery Castro, whom she missed terribly. She left behind a Son Julian Castro who was her heart. Mother, Elaine Stanley Groover. Siblings Katrina Schmiegel, Amanda Famiano (Tony) and Allen Groover. Aunts Debra Hall (Alex) , Victoria Chambers (Ulrich) and Joe Groover( Debbie) several nieces and nephews and many many friends. Amy loved god and had a personal relationship with him that most do not know about or understand. Amy loved the water, beach baby 100 percent! Her other favorite thing was playing Fortnite with her family. She spent many hours doing that with a lot of us. She was most definitely Loved by many people. She will be forever missed by all who had the privilege to know her! We will be holding a celebration of life in Houghton lake MI. details will be posted to her Facebook. |
