It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Shade-Horton, who left this life on June 3, 2026 at the age of 82.
Carol was a beloved stepmother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She possessed a quick wit, a dry sense of humor, and a caring nature. She most enjoyed spending quality time with those that meant the most to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Horton, with whom she spent 19 happy years. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Karina, granddaughters, Lyndsay and Laurel, and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Though she is no longer with us, her love and the memories she created will remain in our hearts forever.
