| Alan Lee Parker, born April 21, 1950, to Clarence and Dona (Thompson) Parker in Ludington, Michigan, passed away peacefully on 9-6-2025, surrounded by his loving wife Nancy and his cherished dog Bosco. Alan earned his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and dedicated his entire career to the field. After raising his family in Ann Arbor with his first wife Mary and enjoying fatherhood with his children Greg and Stephanie, Alan rekindled his passion for motorcycles. He proudly purchased a golden anniversary Harley-Davidson and spent many joyful years adventuring. Many of these trips were shared with his cousin and close friend Dave Daugherty and his wife Deb—each journey filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. In his later years, Alan and Nancy enjoyed traveling and spending winters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Highlights included a trip to Ireland and a final grand adventure to Europe with dear friends Nick Claubaugh and Suzanne Whelehan. Alan was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, daughter Stephanie Lutzeier, two brother-in-laws and father-in-law Milford Webster. He is survived by: His wife, Nancy, Son, Greg (Christine) Parker, Stepchildren, Katlin Buck and Thomas (Abby Turner) Buck, Sister, Mary Knapp, Niece, Amy Huddlestun, Nephew, Bruce Knapp, Mother-In-Law Aileen Webster, Brothers-in-law, Michael (Connie) Webster and Patrick (Laurie) Webster, Sister-in-law, Kathie (Joe) Kenton, Grandchildren: Ryan Lutzeier, Audrey and Ethan Parker, William and River Buck, Kendall and Harley Buck, Many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends Alan will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his infectious laugh, and the joy he brought to those around him. Special thanks to our family and friends in Michigan, and to our Harbor Lights community in Florida—our “village”—whose love and support made the last three years both joyful and bearable. We couldn’t have done it without you. |
