| Bruce Ray passed away on June 1st, 2026, leaving behind a life that could fill volumes and a presence that will never truly be gone. Bruce was a force of nature the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, but not one you’d want to cross. He had his wild times, but learned to settle down and became a man deeply devoted to the people he loved. He is survived by his two children, Jennifer and Will; his grandchildren Briana, Mark, Anthony, Juan, Maritza, Aurora, and Amelia; his brothers Eddie and Timmy; his sister Brenda; his beloved Aunt Edith and cousin Lisa; his longtime friend Pat; and countless others who were lucky enough to know him. Bruce was a man of simple, honest passions. He loved working on cars, building homes, and heading to the races a true redneck at heart, and proud of it. But if Bruce had one true love above all else, it was Dr. Pepper. The man consumed enough of it to keep the factory running single-handedly. He really should have bought stock. His stories are legendary. His friends and family could write textbooks about the life he lived. But more than anything, Bruce was a man who made you feel something and that doesn’t just disappear. He will live on in every one of us who carries a memory of him. |
