With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Christian (Chris) Michael Mayr on November 14th, 2024. He passed away peacefully in Fort Myers, FL.

Chris tried to bring joy and laughter to everyone that he met. He loved golfing, the outdoors, and travel. He grew up mainly in the Kankakee,IL area. He moved to Florida in the late 1980’s. He loved the Florida sun and weather. He was/is loved by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Troy A. and Marianne F. (Bury) Mayr.

Chris is survived by:
Tracey, his life partner
Michelle, his sister, and Adam, her husband
Hannah, his niece
Multiple cousins and family across the U.S. and Germany
