It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Blair Fournier Jr., a man whose humor, loyalty, and love touched all who knew him. Donald passed away surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy built on laughter, service, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most.Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, Donald was the beloved son of Donald Blair Fournier Sr. and Gerry (McGuire) Fournier. From the beginning, family was the cornerstone of Donald’s life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings — Steven Fournier, Shannon Fournier, Bobby Fournier, Philip Fournier, and Nicole Fournier — each of whom he loved dearly. His brother Steven was his best friend and constant companion, someone who meant the world to him.A proud veteran, Donald served honorably as a Naval Hull Technician, earning the prestigious Naval Expeditionary Medal for his bravery and dedication. After his time in the Navy, he continued a life of service as a detective and school resource officer for the Nashua, New Hampshire Police Department, where he became a beloved figure among colleagues, students, and the entire community.Donald’s passion for football was unmatched. He proudly served as a high school football coach, guiding and inspiring young athletes both on and off the field. His love of life also shined through his love of singing and karaoke — never missing an opportunity to fill a room with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.Above all else, Donald’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his sons, Donald Blair Fournier III, Timothy Fournier, and Zachary Fournier, and his daughter, Tabetha Fournier. He loved Corina and Cathryna McLaughlin as if they were his own daughters and doted on his goddaughter, Noelle Fournier. To Donald, family wasn’t just important — it was everything. He lived every day with an unwavering belief that there was no sacrifice too great for the people he loved.Those lucky enough to know Donald will remember his infectious sense of humor, his larger-than-life spirit, and his ability to light up any room he entered. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, music, and strength that will be carried on in the memories, stories, and songs shared by all who were blessed to know him.”
