Eunice Roberts Palmer, resident of Holiday, Fl. and formerly of N. Ft. Myers, Fl. passed away Thursday Sept 17, 2020 at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, FL. surrounded by family, at 94 years young. A retired Insurance Broker, Mrs. Palmer’s passion was in cultivating and showing African Violets and was a long time Member of the African Violet Society. Mrs. Palmer was born to Lauri L Roberts and Rebecca Crosby Roberts in Colleton County, SC on July 4, 1926, the eldest of five children. She moved to Florida from S. C. in 1978 after retiring from the insurance industry. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband William B Palmer, her daughter Linda Foit Day Toole, a sister, Jean Hunt, and a brother, Lonnie Roberts.  Surviving are Mrs. Palmer’s daughter Betty Foit Britt, one sister, Virginia Roberts Catterton (Dave), one brother, Donald R. Roberts (Betty) Eight Grandchildren, Nicole Britt Crosby (Vic), Brian Chad Britt (Colleen), Warren Thomas Day (Sherry), Mark A Day (Beverly), Robert E Day (Jeannie), Jason Heath Day, Lynda M, Cruz (Nick) and, Heather Day Toole. Eunice was also blessed with six Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will announce plans for a memorial service to celebrate her life.
