Francois “Al” Breton, 86, of Tophsam, ME, passed away on January 24, 2024, in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born on June 12, 1937, to Irene Breton (St. Pierre) and Adelard Breton. Al, also known as Francois, had a larger than life personality and a great smile. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp from 1956. Al was an adventurer who loved fishing, hunting, camping, skydiving, motorcycling, and working on home projects.

In his professional life, Al was the owner of Reliable Tree Service and worked as an arborist. He was passionate about his work and took pride in his expertise.

Al is survived by his loving daughter, Sandi Breton, son David Breton, grandson Nicolas Breton, and partner Ann Redovan. He is also survived by his sisters Patricia Mardis and Ann D’Errico, brothers Maurice Breton and Gerard Breton. Al was preceded in death by his mother Irene Breton (St. Pierre), father Adelard Breton, wife Joyce Breton, and brother Bertrand Breton.

A private burial will take place at Warren Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans in memory of Al Breton.
