Born and raised in Charlotte County, James worked in Construction most of his life. He loved his family and loved to fish.
He is survived by a wife of 43 years Brenda Stephens, as well as 3 children James W., Jennifer (Nicholas), Ashley (Doug)
6 Grandchildren Kylie, Nicholas, Ashlyn, Paige, Olivia and Cooper. His sisters Margie (John), Kathy (Ed), Patty (Tom), and his brother John (Ellen).
Going Home will be preforming the cremation.
There will be no service, a family gathering to follow at a later date.
