In Loving Memory of Janet Louise Dillon

August 6, 1946 – October 24, 2026

Janet Louise Dillon, 80, of Holiday, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026. Born on August 6, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, Janet was the beloved daughter of Clifford Joseph Taylor and Mildred Eleanor McIntyre. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a devoted family member, and a woman whose heart was always open to those she loved.

Throughout her life, Janet worked several jobs, but the positions that brought her the greatest joy were working as a receptionist at a veterinarian’s office and later for the City of Dunedin, where she remained until her retirement. Her love for animals was truly extraordinary, and her compassion for them was a reflection of the kindness and warmth she carried in her heart.

Above all else, Janet cherished her family. Her children were a central part of her life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through them and the generations that follow. Though her family will deeply feel her absence, the memories they shared and the love she gave so freely will remain with them always.

Janet was preceded in death by her first husband, Royle Vincent Dillon, Jr., in 1971; her second husband, Ronald Vincent Dillon, in 1999, her beloved younger sister, Kathy Moore, in February 2026; and her niece, Debbie, and nephew, Billy, the children of her sister Nancy.

She is survived by her loving children, Ronnie Joseph Dillon, Royle Vincent Dillon, III, and his wife, Terese Dillon, Tara Lynne Dillon, and Jessica Lee Dillon; her sister, Nancy Taylor; her cherished grandchildren, Cody Dillon and Makayla Dillon; her beloved great-grandson, Jaxson Dillon and her nephews, Ryan Rogers, George, Stephen, and Christopher Moore; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Dillon Rogers.

Janet’s life was marked by the love she gave to her family, her gentle spirit, and her deep affection for animals. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory will live on in the stories shared, the moments treasured, and the enduring bond of family.

In accordance with Janet’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. During this difficult time, the family kindly asks for your prayers, love, and support as they grieve the loss of their beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Arrangements for cremation are being handled by Going Home Cremations of Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Forever loved, forever missed, and always remembered.
