Janice Stluka (Burrow) was born to Love and Love Life., Valentine’s Day 1948. She could “tackle” anything that was casted her way. She Loved to travel.
Jan will be remembered for helping as many people as she could, by “tackling big and small” jobs inside and out. She always had her “bag o tools” that had a little bit of everything in it – just in case.
Jan was always inclined to take a vacation with her friends or family. Her “greatest story” was how she was able to visit one of the seven wonders of the world in 2019. She saw the Great Wall of China and toured the surrounding area for 17 days.
Jan always made time in her life for fishing and the Packers. She would fish anytime there was water near by. Rivers, Lakes you name it and she was there. Being a seasoned Angler she would share her fish with some of her friends in Florida. Hosting a fish fry, once a year.
Jan was a dedicated Packer fan, rarely missing a game. If she could not get the game on at home, she would often meet friends and fellow Packer fans at the Achor Inn, Ft. Meyers.
Jan’s memory will live on with every “GO PACK GO”, you hear. With every plant that is planted or flower you see or smell. When you walk on the beach or the sandbar with the sand between your toes, or catch a fish, everyone knows, Jan will be remembered.
Jan is finally fishing in her “honey hole”, everyday. Her “fight” for life, got away on May 28th 2021. She was in her winter home in Florida.
Jan has many “schools of fish” that miss her. Her friends from all over the United States, because of her winter home in Six Lakes Country Club. Her brothers Ronald (Sandra) Burrow, Robert Burrow. Her sister Linda (Dennis) Klein. Her child and step children Sandra Franklin, Eva (Michael) Kohls, Helen (Robert) Simon and Robert Stluka. Her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
