“Jerry Jerome, will you come home?..” a tune from a child’s nursery rhyme sung to Jerry by our mother, Theresa. Theresa and Ernest, your beloved son has indeed returned home to you both for eternal rest on February 11, 2025.
Born in Lower Bucks County Pennsylvania to Ernest and Theresa Miller (nee Hogan) on October 5, 1962, Jerry enjoyed early life in Levittown with his sisters, Mary and Jane. Graduating from Bishop Egan High School where he was on the wrestling team, Jerry went on to complete his Bachelor’s degree from Temple University.
As an adventurous man who savored the warmth of Florida, Jerry relocated to Tampa Bay in the towns of Tierra Verde and South Pasadena where he was welcomed by many who became extended family. Full of humor, Jerry recounted entertaining stories of people he encountered while living his best life yet many will remember his crazy impersonations of the Three Stooges. Music was vital to Jerry for he was a gifted guitarist, playing for bands in the area and serenading neighbors on his balcony.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Theresa Miller. Surviving Jerry are his sisters Mary Immordino (Bruce), and Jane Eggert, his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Immordino, Susan Eggert, David Immordino (Laura), Steven Immordino, and Brad Eggert. Jerry was a proud Great Uncle to Jake Immordino, Adriana Immordino, Landon Immordino, and Chase Immordino.
The family would like to thank Jerry’s extended Floridian family for their friendship to Jerry, for caring and assisting when needed.
In lieu of flowers, please offer a donation in Jerry’s name to a local food pantry of your choice so his memory lives on.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
