August 28, 2021 our beloved Husband, Daddy and Papaw left his earthly home to his eternal home with Christ Jesus. Johnny was the son of Bascome and Nola Cook Preston also in their eternal home , He leaves behind the love of his life Marlene Anderson Preston, Daughter Heather (Steve) Wilson, Son Heath (Jessica) Preston, Grand children Danielle (Wes) Preston, Nathaniel Preston, Megan Preston, Blake Wilson, Noah Wilson and great grandchildren Owen, Troy and Natalie Preston. He also leaves behind a large loving family his Brothers and sister Stella Dillon, Jeanie/David Smith, Ruthann/Charles Runyon, Norma Jarrell, Brenda/Benny Johnson ,Julie/Dan Chance, Robert/Donna Preston, Leonard/Helen Preston, Evelene/Claude Johnson (1 deceased brother Bascome Preston ) and his brothers and sisters in marriage June/ Kenny Burgess, James(chip)/Maryann Anderson and many nieces and nephews. Johnny will be greatly missed by all and reunited for those that know Jesus as Lord one day.
