Jonathan W. Strickler finally found his peace on 8/18/2024.

Jonatkhan was born on 7/2/1986 in Youngstown, OH, and will forever be 38.

Jonathan was the type of person who would give you the shirt of his back – empathetic, loving, and utterly hilarious jokes. With a smile and a laugh that were contagious.

Jonathan leaves behind his cherished wife and three sons, Jackee, Jonathan 13, Joseph 12. and Jack 7 of FL. Jonathan leaves his parents Bart Strickler of PA, Jayne (James) Mackel of NJ and his beloved siblings, Jennifer (Mark) Cole of OH, Bart Strickler (Jackie) of NJ, Joshua (Tiffany) Strickler of OH, Danielle Sampson (Corey) of NJ, Emily Sampson NJ, Edward Sampson PA, Jauneen Sampson (Joseph) of PA and James Mackel of NJ.

Jonathan also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, family, and friends that will miss him dearly.

Fishing was Jonathan’s favorite hobby, especially with the people he loved, and now he is fishing in heaven with his grandparents George (Helen) Miller, whom he cherished.

Jonathan’s memory will live on in each of the people closest to him as they continue their lives, sharing tales of laughter, chaos, and love.
Jonathan struggled for many years with his mental health and addiction. In honor of Jonathan’s life, we would like the word to be spread in regards to this epidemic and awareness to be raised.
