Lawrence John Yeager

09/27/1939 - 01/18/2025

Lawrence “Larry” John Yeager, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 18 in Venice, FL.

Born on September 27, 1939, to William John Yeager and Mary Agnes Yeager (née Sweeney), Larry grew up with a strong sense of family and loyalty. He graduated from Mount Saint Joseph in Baltimore in 1957 before proudly serving his country in the United States Army, where he was on active duty from 1963 to 1965, followed by service in the Army Reserves until 1969.

On September 16, 1972, Larry married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Brown, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter and countless cherished memories. They raised two children, Timothy Lawrence and Carol Christine, who, along with Tim’s wife of 25 years, Nikki Yeager (née Falcao), blessed him with his greatest joy —his five grandchildren: Avery Mabel (14), Benjamin John (12), Emerson Dale (9), Brooks Lawrence (9) and Noah William (7). Nothing made Larry prouder than being their Pops.

Larry dedicated 36 years of his career to W.R. Grace, where he worked with integrity and commitment before retiring in 2002. A lifelong Baltimore sports fan, he found joy in cheering on his Ravens and Orioles and sharing his passion for sports with his large and loving circle of family and friends. His kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, William (Bill), Daniel (Buddy), and Kathleen (Kay). He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held in the spring in Maryland, where family and friends will gather to celebrate a life well lived.
