Leisa’s life was one of love, generosity, and quiet strength. After graduating from Redford Union High School, she moved to Florida in 1985 to build a life filled with family, traditions, and warmth. She was the proud and devoted mother of 5 children: Jessica Stephens, Scott Miller, Jason Novak, Ryan Fleming, and Ashley Cline. Her heart only grew with each grandchild and great-grandchild. She leaves behind a legacy of 14 grandchildren: Amanda Valentine, Destiny Zimmerman, Clifford Zimmerman II, Jada Castillo, Brianna Brocuglio, Bayleigh Miller, Mykah Miller, Jason Novak Jr, Payton Fleming, Remy Fleming, Wyatt Fleming, Ryleigh Fleming, Jaxson, Waylon; and 7 great-grandchildren: Kaiden Valentine, Kassidee Valentine, Katalina Valentine, Malachi Valentine, Kyle Stogner Roberts Jr, Kinslee Stogner Roberts, and Kahlani Thomas, who were her greatest joy and brightest light.

In her final chapter, Leisa faced a courageous battle with stage 4 stomach cancer. Even in the face of unimaginable pain, she held onto her strength, grace, and unwavering love for her family. Her fight was a testament to her spirit- resilient, fierce, and full of hope. She never let her illness define her, she continued to give her love and light to others until the very end. She also continued to sneak sweets when she wasn’t supposed to.

She was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. Her home was a place of comfort especially during her favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, when she poured her heart into every meal and every detail, making memories that will be treasured for generations.
