On Sunday, September 12, 2021, Lorie Dawn Crouse passed away at the age of 58.

Lorie was born April 15, 1963 in Jamestown, North Dakota to Delmer and Delphine Wegner. An independent, unique, and creative soul from birth, Lorie found joy in reading, art, and music. She was a talented poet and could often be found writing and meditating. She had a passion for healing, which led her to become a licensed massage therapist and reiki master. Although she found herself traveling the world as a military spouse, her heart always found its home in the majestic beauty of Colorado. She will be laid to rest among the serenity of the mountains in a private memorial.

Lorie is preceded in death by her loving partner, Kevin Smith, and her brother and sister-in-law, Marlin and Teresa Wegner. She is survived by her children, Jared and Rhiannon, her parents, Delmer and Delphine, her brother, Clark, and her niece, Ashleigh.

She used to say, in jest, when it was her time to move on from this world, she wanted her headstone to state: “Lorie Crouse – she loved a good beverage”. As her soul departs this plane in a fantastic burst of stardust, have a tasty beverage in her honor as you wish her farewell.
