Mark William Allen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark William Allen, who left us on Thursday , July 24th, 2025 in the wonderful care of Port Charlotte Hospice House. Mark was born in Joliet, Illinois, on March 31st, 1967, Mark was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. Mark spent his final years in Southwest Florida, and was a retired custodian and a passionate beachgoer and fisherman.
Mark is survived by his mother, Catherine Allen, his four siblings, David, Paul (Marvina), Tom (Joanie), and Barbara (Jef), as well as his beloved nieces, Jennifer Cramer, Anna Grauer, Ashley Allen, Caitlyn Allen, and Abigail Allen. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Allen.
At Mark’s request, we will not be holding a service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
