In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Benedict
Patricia Ann Benedict, 82, of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 11th 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Bethel, Connecticut on May 19th 1944, Patricia lived a life centered on the love she held for her family and the special connections she shared with those closest to her.
Patricia was a loving soul whose heart belonged to her family. She cherished the people she loved and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the generations who were blessed to call her Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma (Gragra), and Aunt. Her presence was a treasured part of her family’s lives, and the love she gave will remain in their hearts forever.
Patricia had a special love for all animals, finding joy in the beauty of the little things around her. It is these simple, meaningful pieces of who she was, along with the memories made and the love she shared, that her family will carry with them always.
She is survived by her two daughters, Michel Lyn Blewett (Mark Alan Blewett) of Venice, and Susan Rae Benedict of Englewood; her grandchildren, Morganne Alyce Hicks, Madison Louise Blewett, Bryan Trevor Perry, and Wyatt Wayne Perry; her four great-grandchildren, Alina Michelle Friedsam, Jordan Michael Friedsam, Emilia Joyce Hicks, and Ellie Ann Hicks; and her brother Conrad Main Jr (Elfie); her loved nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband William Jay Benedict, parents Conrad Main and Alice Main, and her siblings Sylvia Cordani, Richard Main Sr., and Raymond Main.
Though her family must now learn to navigate life without her physical presence, the love she gave will never be lost. She will live on in the stories shared around family tables, in the memories held close, in the generations that follow her, and in the quiet moments when something beautiful, like a bird passing by, brings her to mind.
Her final moments were surrounded by love, a beautiful reflection of the love shared.
