Patricia “Patty” Stead passed peacefully in New Port Richey, FL. on January 21, 2024 surrounded by loved ones, she was 77 years old. Patty was born in Salem, Massachusetts on October 5, 1946 to her late parents Arthur and Mary (Coady) Ferguson, and was a graduate of Peabody High School class of 1964. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” W. Stead Sr., and her son Thomas “Tom” Stead. She is survived by her son Robert “Bobby” W. Stead Jr. (Kelly), her daughter Megan (Stead) Axelrod, her sisters Pamela Ferguson, Maryann (Ferguson) Newman (Tom), and her Daughter in Law Diane (Vukic) Stead. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren: Brittnay (Mitchell) Stead, Whittnay (Coleman) Roberts (Tyler), Alexandra “Alex” Stead , Nicholas “Niko” Stead, Connor Stead (Aliya), Gabrielle “Gabby” (Stead) Wright (James), McKenna Stead and Adley Martinez, 4 great grandchildren: Bentley Harris, Camden Roberts, Nash Roberts and Adalyn Wright, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends that she loved very much.

Patty was most proud of her career in Real Estate helping people purchase homes for their families. She enjoyed dining out, music, dancing, playing cards, movies and TV (anything crime related), travelling and visiting family and friends.
