It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert John Jacobs (Bob), who peacefully passed away on December 29, 2024, in Manatee County, Florida. Born on July 12, 1929, Bob was a proud Navy veteran who served aboard the Battleship Missouri.

After retiring from General Electric, Bob became known for his love of storytelling, sharing tales from his travels around the world. His passion for model railroading was a constant source of joy and creativity. Bob was a kind and gentle soul, loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his step-son, Douglas Brinker, daughter-in-law, Sandy Brinker, sister Janet Baker, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral services. Bob will be laid to rest at Saint Johns Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
