Sonia Teresa Galasso, age 59 of Largo, FL passed away peacefully at home on July 15th, 2022. She was born in Baltimore, MD but lived most of her life in Pennsville, NJ.
She attended Pennsville Memorial High School and Salem Community College. She worked for Delaware Department of Health and Social services for over 20 years.

Sonia was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, friend and grandmother. She enjoyed doing her daily yoga, cooking for others and trying out new recipes. She adored her grandchildren and was always so proud of them. She was bright and beautiful and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her two children; Glen Lucas and Kristy Hitt(Chris) of Pennsville, mother Joyce Perry of Largo, Fl; sisters Elizabeth Sward(Mark), Faith Lucas and Angel Perry all of NY; ex-husband and father of her children John Galasso; 5 grandchildren- Taylor, Abrielle, Ashlynn, Logan and Addisyn Hitt and 1 great grandson Colsen Xzavier and 2 more on the way. She was predeceased by her father John Lucas.

A celebration of Life will be held at New Life Worship Center (80 S. Hook Road Pennsville, NJ 08070) Saturday, August 13th at 11 am with service starting at noon.
