Steven Richard Andrews, 69, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
He is survived by his mother, Grace; his sister, Nancy Dougherty, and her husband, Michael; his nephew, Christopher Dougherty, and his wife, Erica; his nieces, Brianna Jerman, and her husband, Mike, and Courtney Dougherty; as well as five great-nieces and one great-nephew. He also leaves behind his dear long-time friend, Kathy.
Born in Pennsylvania to Grace and E. Richard Andrews, Steve spent more than 20 years as a member of Willow Grove United Methodist Church, where he was active in the Boy Scout troop. He often reflected fondly on the friendships, adventures, and lessons he experienced there.
Steve graduated from Upper Moreland High School in 1974 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in 1978. In 1980, he moved to Florida, where he made his home.
In 1992, Steve established his own data analysis consulting business, working closely with medical doctors and clinics throughout the Tampa Bay region. He held a private pilot’s license and, in his younger years, greatly enjoyed the freedom and excitement of flying. A man of many interests, Steve loved photography, muscle cars, and was a dedicated collector of Lionel trains.
Steven is now home with his Heavenly Father and reunited with his dad, Richard, who passed in May 2024. His legacy continues through the humor, love, and cherished memories he leaves in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
A family celebration of Steven’s life will be held in the future.
