| William (Bill) Gagliardo, age 81, of Trinity, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 19, 1944 in Staten Island, NY to the late Benjamin and Ida Gagliardo. After retiring from the New York Police Department in 1983, Bill moved to Palm Harbor, Florida and began a career with Pinellas County, working as a park ranger. He later joined the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office as Director of Special Projects before retiring. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie (Wittek); three daughters, Joyce Chiavetta (Victor), Marie Brandofino (Michael), and Linda Gagliardo (Paul Melton); seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. His siblings, Dolores Streitman (Alan) , Mary Gagliardo, Benjamin Gagliardo (Jeanne), three brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins. And was preceded in death by his siblings Joseph and James Gagliardo, Father and Mother-in-law, and Brother-in-law. Bill was a proud American who served his Country in the Marine Corp. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and West Pasco Republican Club. He was a great friend to many and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality and love for his family. Celebration of life will be December 5th from 11am to 1pm at the Hampton Inn located at 11780 FL-54 Odessa FL. Burial will follow at Bay Pines National Cemetery located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines FL 33744 at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
